Job Summary:
Manage all company engineering activities including support of the manufacturing operations. Direct the development and implementation of improvement plans in all areas, including product design; injection molding process control; product labeling, packaging and assembly; and tooling management.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Management, direction, and mentoring of engineering department personnel to include: Tooling, Design, Maintenance, Processing and Project engineering.
  • Management and direction of product development and new product launch activities.
  • Management and direction of engineering team to maintain existing assets with a high focus on prioritizing initiatives to improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
  • Interface with equipment and tooling suppliers to identify cost effective solutions to improve:
  • Injection molding productivity
  • Asset preventative maintenance
  • Product assembly
  • Product marking and/or labeling
  • Product packaging
  • Material handling
  • Tool change and repair
  • Develop and manage capital expenditure initiatives relating to facility and equipment.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
Experience:
  • 7-10 years of relevant industry experience, injection molding
  • 5 years of management experience in an engineering environment.
  • Technical hands on experience with injection molding

Essential Job Duties: 
• Maintain and initiate routine repairs on pipelines and associated equipment. 
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repairs of pipelines, associated facilities, and equipment. 
• Read and understand station flow and pipe marking line alignment diagrams
• Conduct “tailgate” safety meetings and prepare company “hot” work permits. 
• Operating all hands tools and power tools, equipment and devices required to perform job duties 
• Required to use various monitors and perform “Safe” work practices during pipeline maintenance and repair. 
• Train and assist in performing relief duties for the Pipeline Tech position, (pigging, pig tracking, line locating and marking as needed). 
• Assist and perform duties for the operation of the Centurion’s “One Call” Response system. 
• Train and assist in performing relief duties for Measurement Specialist as needed. 
• Performs duties associated with custody transfer operations. 
• Performs basic computer operations 
• Other duties as required. 

Qualifications
Required Qualifications (in order of priority): 
Education and Skills 
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. 
• Self motivated & able to work well with little Supervision 
• Ability to work effectively with other team members/departments 
• Intermediate computer skills, able to use Microsoft Office Suite and Maximo. 
• Good communication and math skills. 

Certifications and Location 
• Ability to obtain Operator Qualification per D.O.T. FCR195 (Administered by Centurion) 
• Must possess valid driver’s license and have a good driving record. 
• Subject to 24 hour callout 
• Must live within 30 miles of assigned work location 
Physical Capability: 
• Requires fine motor skills, and visual acuity correctable to 20/40 distant and 20/20 near 
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs., work outside in all weather conditions, and extended hours 
• Must be able to work in confined spaces, enter and exit sloped ditches, 
• Must be able to climb, while carrying required equipment, ladders and tanks, and work at heights of up to 60 feet.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Complete Service Technician Training; self-identify problem areas.
  • To master knowledge of all types of refractory and insulation, their applications, and the ability to implement use in all type of units.
  • To Complete Operator Training
  • To mark piping correctly
  • To master advanced welding and cutting skills: ARC, MIG, and oxyfuel cutting for plate, sheet, pipe mark and structural steels.
  • To master basic service skills including: Burner maintenance, blower cleaning, air and gas calibrations and ability to complete accurate service documentation.
  • Perform M-pyre 2.0 field upgrade.
  • To master the ability to discuss with our customers the operation and maintenance of cremation equipment, including the ability to process cremations of human and animal remains
  •  To master basic troubleshooting of M-pyre 2.0.
  • Participate in mandatory after-hours hot-line telephone service rotation
  • Field Work: Service, calibrate, repair, rebuild and upgrade all models of cremation equipment
  • Shop work: Install firebrick and refractory lining, component assembly and connections, electrical and plumbing installation of cremation equipment; participate in mandatory hot-line telephone service rotation.
